Hi all,

Welcome to the McDowski Happenings blog. As many of you know KJ and I are on a summer-long adventure to Alaska. Some of you asked that we keep you posted on our travels and send some pics. Rather than trying to do that individually we thought a blog would be the best way to go. We can’t promise that all our posts will be riveting prose, but we will try to keep them at least somewhat interesting and mildly humorous. We know we have different audiences so we have categorized posts as: “Everyone”, “Friends and Family” (including former work colleagues at CHCO), and of course with two geologists adventuring in Alaska we have to have a “Geo Nerd” category. You are welcome to read as much or as little as you’d like. Share the blog with anyone you wish.
